Coffee Shop Review: New York City Edition

I spent this past weekend in New York City. While there I was able to visit two new coffee shops. While walking to visit a local business for a tour something caught my eye, a La Colombe Cafe! If you have been following me for a while it is likely that you know that La Colombe is my favorite coffee brand!

While at La Colombe I bought two drinks. A Nizza roast espresso shot and a cold brew (Duh!). I was not a big fan of the espresso shot but really enjoyed my cold brew. The aesthetic of the shop was really neat but the baristas definitely were not fans of how touristy I was being.

Perfect place to catch up with friends!
Beautiful wall of products. I love the color coding.
Midtown. ❤

The next shop that I visited was called Blue Bottle Coffee. As we were walking to Chick-Fil-A right before leaving for the airport, I saw Blue Bottle Coffee and had to stop in for a cold brew! I love how bright and cheery the shop was and how welcoming the baristas were. The cold brew was really smooth and flavorful as well. Would definitely like to visit again and try something different!

Gah. So yummy.
Take me back!!

  1. I truly believe that baristas can make an effect on how good the coffee tastes, Bad experiences lead to bad coffee, it might just be the normal coffee that you always buy or have had. Yet, when the baristas are in a mood its not as enjoyable as it should be. There is this place called, Dutch Bros back home, the workers are amazing, the coffee isn’t that great, yet because of their attitudes I enjoy going so much more.
