Some of my favorite memories growing up involved walking with my friends to the QuikTrip a few blocks from my church in between services. We would usually buy a frozen coffee to share and loved to try all the different flavors. Now, McPherson doesn’t have a QuikTrip so I’ve had to branch out to other gas stations when I’m desperate for a cup of coffee after 8pm!
My second semester freshmen year a elderly gentleman at church told me about this amazing coffee at the local 24/7 Travel Store called Max Caffeine. He swore it was the best gas station coffee he ever had. During the week before finals I was desperate for a cup of coffee around 1am so my roommate and I drove downtown to try some of this coffee.
Okay, it was actually amazing. Smoothest gas station coffee I’ve ever had (usually they are nasty and sludge like). I still don’t know if it is actually really good or if it’s just my sleep deprived brain talking but every finals week I end up drinking a couple cups of 24/7’s Max Caffeine coffee and it hasn’t failed me yet!

My Dad always gets gas station coffee during long road trips to stay alert! The thing is though he doesn’t get it for it to be good but because he expects it to be bad! So he just takes a sip, grimaces, and keeps driving over and over again.

Dude I really need to try this now! I’ve never been too picky about coffee, but I have started refining my coffee palette more than before. So knowing where to get good gas station coffee is a must! Thanks!

Hmmm. I never was a coffee guy until recently. Perhaps the college grind has called for some changes in my life, starting with coffee. I’m at the point where I had to get a keurig for my room. But, if this coffee is as good as you claim, I will certainly give it a shot.
